    Sorry but I just can't really get excited about graptolites.. One of our lecturers is a graptolite expert and keeps going on about them.. but no-one has a clue what they were like alive and they don't really look like much. Fair dos they date most of the Silurian, but still..
    Also we have to do a massive project on them next year for biostratigraphy Sad

    Ahhhh, alex.... the quiz on monday is all about graptolites! - I am sick of belemnites. Graptolites I likes tho.

    I like a graptolite myself. Freaky alien like colony of creatures which in its day conquered the world! - and as alex says despite abundance not a great deal is understood boot them which is all the more exciting in my book. - I can empathise if someone were to go on and on however, I might loose a little interest. However something on my list for my collection I don't think I have an example. Nice piece Kosmos.

    Next one is my favourite... my first ever graptolite find. When I found it many years ago, I had no idea what it was. Razz
