    Latest Aust finds

    Post  sal7373 on Sun May 20, 2012 11:46 am

    Hi everyone,
(apologies if you have already seen these on UKGE) these are my latest Aust finds from the last month or so :-)

and these are the ID's from our expert Pete (Knochie) (im hoping they have posted in the same order lol)
2-4. Polyacrodus cuspidatus fin spine, looks like it's from the top of the base, where the spine enters the muscle.

    5. Not sure, could be Pachystropheus going by the colour.

    6. Nemacanthus monilifer led on top of another piece of Polyacrodus.

    7. Nemacanthus monilifer fin spine. I do like these, pity they are never found complete.

8-11. Severnichthys acuminatus jaw with one of those tusk like teeth, and it's a biggie.

    12. Piece of ichthy rib.

    13. Plesi. tooth.

    14&15. Don't know.

    Sal,
going by the thickness and the concave surface I think 14&15 is a well knackered plesi vert.
